Brandon, did you go to this? If so, how was it? Anyone else go? I was out of town this past weekend, so I could not attend, but I heard this was a nice show.
It's Marla with an " L"

Yes, I went for a short period in the morning, it seemed well attended and well organized. The weather was beautiful but I had stuff planned for the day so I only stayed a short time. A wide assortment of Euro cars overall and a split double cab that I had not seen before there. I saw Will there eyeing up a nice powder blue Bay that was for sale, I wonder if anything came of that........

Most of the VW's there were highly modified, and interesting !

Marla, I was there from 9-12 and it's a pretty good gig. I cruised in from Sheffield, on back roads, with the Lorain county euro meet guys; they were cool to drive slower so the bus can keep up with their modded VWs. At the event there were several supercars, craptons of bmw, vw, porsche.I saw a Pantera and a couple v12 jags. There was a guy there with an old volvo, who used to be cancer ridden, and one day he got fed up with chemo and called it quits - walked right out of the hospital and on his way home he saw the volvo and bought it. He focused on restoring it, and in the process got better, and now does bungee jumping and all kinds of stuff. Some cars have cools stories behind them. I also met a guy who does vanagon and bay tdi conversions and actually lived in one for a few months of vacation.
It would be a good yearly event for us, but before that, we should invade the weekly Sheffield Lake Quaker Steak car show. There are hundreds of awesome classics there every sunday evening, but barely any vw's. Well, I actually saw Ken cruising by three weeks ago.
Some pics fro the euro thing:
