Aaron just told me (not too long ago) to build a stock 1600 with slight carbs. and exhaust mods.

Thanks. I'm leaning towards the stock 1600 which is more budget-friendly. I believe the original transmission can be used too which saves some money. As I go through this process, the thought of pulling off and out items which do work and do run seems a less sensible way of going about the project. Comments are still appreciated.

Black tape pin striping. I was unsure about this as well as many other things, but it sets the two colors off really nice I think. I think the exterior of this bus is now beter than when it rolled off the factory floor in '65. Don did a truly remarkable job on it.
