Re: 67 Deluxe
Here is a short list of things that had to be done to date to get this back on the road:
Long trip out west to pick it up and trailer it home
Clean out the interior/exterior including serving eviction notices to the mice
Remove the fuel tank, clean inside, replace all hoses and tank filter
Brakes all the way around, including all hoses, all wheel cylinders, new dual master cylinder (type with adapter kit)
Free up, grease brake and clutch pedals and all cables, adjust ebrake cables.
Replace boots on transmission, drain and refill gear boxes
Sort out a bunch of electrical issues, lights, horn, etc.
Wiper shafts replacement
Front beam clean, grease, swing pin replacement
Add one mystery motor (after the standard checks)
Weld in new metal around seat belt mounts in the front seat area
And a bunch of little stuff I probably forgot about already

Here's my mice eliminator. Even at age 12 and deaf he can still handle the job!Kirk wrote:Here is a short list of things that had to be done to date to get this back on the road:

I love the deluxe bus. And after all, it is blue.
I really like passenger buses and feel they are overlooked in the VW camper world. And it looks like you have the middle seat!
Re: 67 Deluxe
