Re: ed's 67 deluxe
Took the bus on a long road trip this weekend 418 miles round trip in a 24 hour timeframe.
ran really well xept I think I was running a little hot from time to time, probly my fault for running her to hard.took me 6 hours to make it 209 miles back roads..I got 18.6 mpg @ average speed of 55 don't really know if that is good or not.so I decided to take the freeway on the way home filled the tank and hit the road.I new my math was good but I left out one major part of the equation,I ran 65 screening down the highway instead of a comfortable 55...we pull in to a station to grab some drinks Trish said should we get some gas? My response was NAH I did the math we are all good...get back in the bus turn on the on ramp to 77N next thing you know....pop pop bang sputter blaaaaaa
broke down! Not hot,got oil, turns over....OK found a stick to check the fuel.
nothing
once again Trish chimes in well what do you think the problem is.....I said well dear it seems we are out of gas as I am looking right at the gas station we had just left
.......Trish
Need I say it
...we had a good time and are all ready for the next adventure...
