got the engine out on a skid. will attempt to get it running by saturday.

Kinda what I'm gonna do.

I'll pull the valve covers off and make sure all the valves are actuating close to correctly.

do a quick carb clean and distributor service and give it a whirl.

90% of the time they fire right off..

I had one that idled perfectly 10 seconds after starting it,,,revved fine too. Shoulda kept that one. :x



The speedo is still in the car. This engine only has 27xxx original miles on it.

It worked for Greg on the Island Bus. It worked for me on the Dove Blue Kombi that Aaron now owns and the 68 Single Cab. A little PB Blaster and Marvel Mystery Oil will work wonders.
