Drove the commercial today. I have done the following: had the gas tank resealed, clutch, pressure plate, tob, front crank seal and o-ring, new muffler clamp and gasket set, air cleaner, new fuel line, all new front brakes, fixed the passenger side roll up window, shift coupler, tie rods and the list goes on. Couldn't get the brake lights to work at all. I ran a hot wire down to one side of one of the brake light switches and ran a wire back to the rear harness. This will be temporary till I can get a hazard switch or turn signal assembly or both. According to the Bentley all wires to the rear for lights except the tail lights go thru these two units. Have a new windshield and gasket and a couple other hatch seals. Going to replace all the cigarette windows in the rear with solid glass as they are rusty and I'm afraid to open them without breaking them.

Ran into a title snag. The original title on the bus used the engine number as the VIN. That was all well and good except for the engine being replaced and a different number is now in place. Waiting to hear from the po after he talks to the DMV.

Me and Brad may be doing a paint strip job in a week or so. Will post pictures then.

Drove it home from the shop today. Put about 30 miles on it and seems to do well. May start the stripping process tomorrow.

Looks like another daily driver to haul my stuff in.

No way. That is totally unexceptable coming out of your mouth.

You'll paint it and like it.

I think I finally got the sanding and filling done today. Brad is coming over Sunday and get it primed. I was going to paint it back to lotus white but leaning towards neptune blue right now. The only white on it is the inside of the cab and engine compartment. Since it is going to be a daily driver and not a resto, it wouldn't matter that much.
