Took it out because it was fugged up. Bypassed it, but I think I will be putting a new one back in so I dont have to carry around a pencil and paper.

Ted is 100% right. He walked me through the rebuild process on my '59 after he noticed I had some beetle fuel valves in my stash and I couldn't identify the correct bus version. I doucmented the process on the old site, but I don't think it's available any longer. I was able to get mine to work right because WW still sold rebuild kits for the bus version at that time. If you have a bus valve, you may be able to rebuild it so "in" is normal and "out" is reserve, but you have to take it apart and see what's damaged or missing. Supposedly the 356 tap parts that are made of cork last longer with our recent crappy oxygenated fuel.

I have a WW one and I don't use it because I don't want to have the knob pulled out all the time!
My reserve is a extra gallon of gas I carry in the bus.
