I would not put that fiberglass insulation back in. I have read it holds moisture causing rust. Rustoleum never worked for me. I too agree with a rustproofing paint as long as it dries hard. I use Ensign's 395A. Made in Cleveland too.

I found some rust on the tailgate of my Ranger and POR'd it today. It's Good Stuff.
Oh, and use cheap disposable brushes. I got a bag of 12 foam brushes at Drug Mart today for $2.50. Use the brush once then trash it.

Update: I needed the POR for another project today. The lid had fused itself to the can overnight. I had to chisel it open with a screwdriver. I'm impressed! :shock:

Saran wrap the can then cover it with the lid. Keeps it "fresh". :lol: Hope you kept it off your hands. If not, I'll see it in the next couple weeks! :lol:
