I don't think I will be able to handle 27" tires though. I know they aren't that much bigger, but with the higher ratios I have already i have to stick near stock sizing I think.

Most likely. I have a 71 panel van i've been building over the course of the past year. It too will be fitted with a 6 rib 091. My power plant is a upright converted type4 2.0L engine from a late bus. I was tossing around the idea of boosting it. I have enough turbo cars already so it'll most likely stay NA. Buses are slow, but thats part of what makes a bus, a bus! The 091 mated to a 1600 is working that engine pretty strong in 4th. I'd be weary of tire upgrades just yet. Get the basics knocked out and get it on the road. I have some stupid fast cars that are a blast to drive, but nothing is better then the smell of rotted horse hair and pissing the people off behind me lol. You'll know what i mean when you get these seats and your on the highway welcome to the club!

Thanks man, I sent you a text about the parts
I was home for a total of 17 hours a before I started working on it again. I replaced all fuel lines after I drained the tank. I think I figured out why it wouldn't run! The open side is the outlet, and that is rust clogging the filter
And apparently I was so tired last time I was working on it, that when I put it away I forgot to turn the ignition off, and my coil puked it's guts out!
But it still runs! First successful drive!

My wife didn't even get the good part, but that's ok, it was fun, for sure!
I went down the street and got her up to 45, it's definitely a different feeling!

Lol, we'll see, the next planned adventure is to get it to my house. Once the floor, rockers, slider and fenders show up, more work!

The only important parts are the slider track and then maybe the front floor. You gotta prioritize repairs to make it to KOK.
