What about this Place for a campout?

Why don't we do Rustic Knolls in Mount Vernon. Some of our members camp there the day before the COVVC festival, car show. It is in the center of Ohio. The members can come up from the Cincinatti area.

Yes, and on behalf of all LEAKOILIERS many thanks to your family for all the great hospitality over those ten years. For a lot of folks that don't know, "Happybus" is Frank Bifath of the Full Moon bus Club and the Ohio Valley Tribe and "Rustic Knolls" is his family's campgrounds. I must confess, I was so consumed by 'tune up day' that I didn't get a chance to acknowledge Frank and give him a proper "hello" when he turned up at Bill's on tune up day. That was nice of Frank to make the trip. We don't do enough with the FMBC & OVT and a lot of it is because people like me are afraid of going beyond the notorious "AAA" zone for breakdowns!

I need to get over that. Anyway, if you see Frank say hello because people like him and John Baker contribute a great deal to the VW community!

You can say THAT again! AND, Frank builds one of the BEST Fires I have ever seen! They get the "Master of Sparks' Seal of Approval".

Been down there a couple of times. Very nice facility and those OVT boys really know how to put on a campout. Plenty to eat, drink and live music. Hee Haw

Hey Josh thanks for the kind words. Bob and Ken yes these boys I camp with do like their a/c hookups. Me, I just like to entertain and make all our guests feel welcome, and from what I hear back, we do well in acheiving that goal. Howie I build them with you in mind bro..
Bob I know the price is a bit better at the school lot, but other than Kellys and the river at BusesNBoats, or the river at High Country, I will argue that you will have a hard time finding a more enticing ambience, and a true family event.
So please consider this an official invitation, if you have read about Dixie, or ever wanted to make the trip, please make this the year you do so. If for some reason you attended once before in the last 10 years, but decided not to attend again, please, please let me know, and if I can, we will fix it and make it right by you.
Thanks folks,,, see you soon.
