First we took the bikes and did a ten mile tour of 4, of the many, wineries (tastings at each) along Conneaut Creek crossing through several covered bidges, then back for an awesome dinner at the first. Two of the wineries actually had quite good wine.
Another feature of the area is that it has one of the highest concentrations of covered bridges in the country. Maybe thee highest. They are all laid out on a tour map or you could pick and choose. They are such a cool piece of history and we checked out a bunch.
Then time to hit the kayaks. The water in Grand and Conneaut was looking pretty thin so we headed back to the upper Cuyahoga, which if your unfamiliar with it, is nothing like the Cuyahoga your thinking of - really, really nice.
Anyway... a great, full weekend. Could make for a good LO trip sometime - caravaning through covered bridges and hitting all the wineries. Seems like a natural.
Loaded and ready - gonna get a lot of use out of this rack
