1968 Singlecab

Picked this one up in December. Little crusty, but have cleaned it up a lot. Don't know what direction to go with this one. Probably will be a raggedy daily driver, for now.

Looks like a great find! I also have a 68 SC.
Appears like you have the round reflectors intact, to purchase OG ones can be costly. I sold a pair of the red ones with poor rubber foe $80. 4 years ago, and the guy said he had been looking for 1 1/2 years. He was happy! Does it have the rear view mirror? I believe it is a 1 year only part and I have never seen one for sale. Another 1 year only part is the brake fluid reservoir, be careful when working around it, they can be brittle. The dash look nice!

This is a cool little truck that was probably headed for parts car status but Randys put some real effort into getting it going again. Im sure more would be accomplished on it if there wasnt a syncro vanagon sitting in his garage taking up his space and his time when he's helping me work on it! haha I owe randy some serious time on some his projects because hes invested alot of his in mine. After seeing Randy's SC, it makes me think it's about time to get this bad boy back on the road. Been stored inside but not started for about 3 years

More or less in the same condition as Randy's. I did trade some stuff for a decent set of gates from a guy in Texas a few years ago. Probably the best thing on the truck.


Just noticed its got the inside rear view mirror.

I saw this in St. Augustine last November at a show. It was supposedly for sale. I spent hours trying to track down the owner to no avail. Very tempting and was very solid. Looking back, I probably should have camped-out in it untill he showed up.
