I picked this truck up from Randy a couple weeks ago. It's rough, but definitely worth getting back into shape. David from Norwalk is doing some welding on it for me this week. He is repairing the rockers, Jack points and some of the frame rails. The motor is in good condition and the front end is tight. It pops out of 4th once in a while. I might go to a 5 rib transmission at some point, but it is at the bottom of the list for now. Brakes are in good condition but need to be bled. I have changed the gear oil and motor oil as of now. The seats need to be recovered (hint Bill; ) ) . I need new tires since the ones on it are re-skins. Eventually I will get the bed rhino lined and body painted with my construction company logo. Here is some pics of what I am starting with. I'm sure David will ad some pictures of what he is doing this week.

Sweet I also have a 68 SC, love it! You have the round reflectors they are hard to find, I had a crappy pair, reflector was ok the rubber had seen better days, kinda shot really, and sold them at Octo. for 50 bucks.

Stopped out at David's tonight. He has a lot of the rot cut out, and is going to be starting to fabricate the metal pieces in the next day or so. He has a sweet 61' mango that Julie and I got to check out as well. The truck is not as bad as I thought and always looks a lot better once the rust starts getting removed. I'll update some pictures tomorrow when Dave sends me some pics. Should have took some more, but got caught up BSing.

Yep Randy was wanting it back at Kelly's. I think I'll hold onto this one. I was wanting a split, but the ghey singles are hard to come bye. I would like to convert the front to disk brakes at some point because four wheel drums suck.....

Splits are way over rated anyway!

Well we know there are at least three ghey singles on the planet. They do ride and handle much better than a split.
