Hello LEAKOIL, my name is Parker, I am 18 years old, and thanks to six volt i have joined your community. I live outside of harrisburg PA, and i am starting my first bus project.

It is a 1965 13 window, and is very rusty. I was wondering if anyone could be available to help me with welding new floors on my bus, i need help with welding at the moment.

Save your money and take it to Josh at Rusthaven in Lockhaven/Jerseyshore, PA.

Great value for the $$ and his work is top notch. He can match/blend the paint too ifyou wanted to keep it OG looking.

Yeah, he's real busy right now, got a bunch of work needs to get painted now that the weather is starting to warm up.

Unlike some shops, he doesn't take on anymore work than he can handle. Which helps the turnaround time and maintain quality of work.

Welcome Parker! That is an awesome bus! Love the patina.

Aaron (Widefive) knows his stuff, so I'm sure the guy he recommends is top notch.

That bus will be worth a lot when you finish it, so take your time and don't give up. Stay with it!

Welcome, Parker! Your bus is quite similar to mine, and both need work. Buy a Mig and do the work yourself if you have space to work on it, this will cost a fraction of subbing the work out. Read my thread, maybe twice, to learn from my mistakes.

I will definitely need some pointers, the only experience i have with welding is with oxyacetalene but yeah, i need someone experienced by my side.

Since, I am preparing on taking this on, can you guys give me some ideas of tools that are most used and needed, like a grinder and such, i am trying to prepare prices and such

I just did, it looks great, i have got a few friends who are welders and are familiar with mig welding, perhaps they can give me some lessons
