Another great campground

Post by wwebner »

I want to thank 21 window and busboy for turning us on to another GREAT campground. Beavercreek State Park (OHIO). Located about 20 miles south of Columbiana on Rt. 7,just east of East Liverpool Ohio. This is a primitive campground,no shower facilities, exept for an cool sun shower. A small consesion stand and VERY CLEAN pit toilets. Only 55 sites, with only 6 electric. Only 2 others in the whole place on Fri. a few more on Sat. but mostly empty.

I was there back in the 70's and yes it is an awesome place! As the old song goes, "Way down yonder on Beaver Creek, the gals all grow to be six-feet".

When Bill mentioned it to me last week I had no idea it was that cool and primative. Looks great. I'd like to check out Howie's farm sometime, but also this site, perhaps at a future 'Jim's VW' "German Jubeliee". Can't be that far away from both sites.

It aint damn far away at all. Just a hoot & a holler away.
Or as we used to say in the 70's in Greenford, "About a One-Beer's trip from here".
