I know...you're eyeing it up to slam it! I'm sure I'll run into someone who'll let me drive one which has been lowered. I need to drive one to see how it rides first.

I'm going to want a new motor if anyone has any suggestions. I've heard of many installing a 1700-2000 some cc motor on a 'freeway flyer' or super beetle tranny. I would love a little more power and better performance for highway driving if it's affordable. I've just begun my research on this part of the project.
