I took my Bus over to the Grand Am race at Watkins Glen a couple years ago. We camped right at the track but were told about state park. Nice views from the track since it is on top of the hill. How did your Bus like that hill going out of downtown? It's a steep one. I too recommend the area and the hike is nice.

My camper is a US conversion Travel Equipment. It has no heat in rear as it was a panel van before conversion.

There was a mudflap screwed here with 3 sheetmetal screws. Is that OEM?

The VW mudflaps on my bus have a bracket that hooks under rear bumper bracket and frame and 2 pieces of metal that clamp the other end of bracket on lip of rear corner. No screws through body.

He definitely traded up if he traded it in at Thomas Classics. They sell some nice cars.
