Yea, and someday its going to stop on Miester Road!

Kirk, 'the Gerson' looks great. In the end, you'll have plenty of 'smoothin' on that nose like I did, but its nothing you can't handle. I can't wait to see it up close.

It looks like were becoming a "restored" bus club. Hey, that's not necessarily a bad thing since some of our buses really need it! Anyway, great job. Keep the pictures coming so we can all watch and learn.

ps Do you need that exta cab door I have to "graft" the lower skin off for one of your doors? (I think its off a '66). I'll be out your way on Thursday.

Thanks Josh.

Did you know that there are like 8 pieces of metal that all come together at that lower hinge area?

Excellent job Kirk! You do make it look easy! :D

That hinge area on the pillar is indeed tough. Looks like you nailed it though.

Are the Gerson green panels as good as they say? That floor piece looks like a perfect match. The doglegs look great as well. Do you have to do the inner and outer rockers?

WOW, I'm really impressed by your work. I'd like to try my hand at that someday. I don't mind wrenching, but for now, I'll leave the bodywork to you pros. Looks like your DC is coming along very nicely.

I thought I would try to take a shortcut on this project and send a couple pieces to a stripper.
Not sure how well the paint will stick to it, but it was easy and waaaay cheaper than all that 3M sandpaper I would have to buy to get all that paint off

It also came back with a little more welding required
