68 Passenger Commercial

Post by Randy »

Going to pick this one up Tuesday. Got into a discussion at Everybus in Greensboro, NC a couple weeks ago with a good friend of mine about this. He found it in a barn in GA, where it had sat for 15 plus years. Has 64000 original miles. No rust or dents. He started it off a gas can and drove it onto his trailer. Ordered with no rear seats, there is only one seat bracket in the rear, the one pictured. You can see in the pictures that the headliner ends at the b-pillar and is primered from there back. Has card board panels in the rear and if I'm correct card board door panels in the front. This will be my daily driver. I will be the second titled owner.

I'm really stoked about this one. Yes, it will be stored in the winter along with the 62, which by the way, I have decided to leave in the original paint for a while.

Awesome survivor bus and definitly a keeper. Glad you're not going to drive it in the winter.
Looking forward to seeing it in person. That baby needs to be around for a long, long, time.

I'd like to. But, my work schedule won't permit that.

Thanks for the offer.

Great find (again) Randy!

If you find out some details on the company that owned or used it originally, (that is if there even was a company), I'd love to hear the story. Every year Ken does a great presentation on buses at OKTOBERFEST over Labor Day weekend and this year he just might be covering commercial buses, so we may need you to bring that thing up here! :D

That's a fantastic find!
