Great to see a real welder in action!
Are you replacing that short rocker? While it looks ok from here, only you can tell. Also, do you have to do anything with the A or B pillars? While I'd love to see some photos of that, I wouldn't wish that repair on anyone. Keep the pictures coming.
Oh yea, here is a samba thread with a lot of detailed fabrication photos on a single. Not that you need any help!

Kirk is too modest. No one appreciates a "Work In Progress" like a Leakoiler! Right, Sean?

BTW, Sean's bus is turning out NICELY! Don't forget I want a ride in that when it's finished!

This post does not mean that I'm back on this project again.
It was done only because Brad needed a fuel gauge......which I pulled out of my dash.....which lead me to pull out all of the gauges......to find out the one I wanted didn't work.....then I couldn't stand the holes left behind.....short story, I welded them up today.
Thanks Brad!!

He even pulled the steering wheel!

Kirk is a 'dash' man. (Hey Howie, I said 'dash'

)
BTW, I think that's getting closer to "California Quality".

Man, that looks Clean! I say smooth the entire dash, and punch in some VDO gages from Summit and go "Totally California" on it!
