1960 SO-23 A.K.A. Gunther
Re: 1960 SO-23 A.K.A. Gunther
Thanks everyone, here’s another update.
I stopped by the shop to see progress. Adrian smoothed out the engine lid and rear hatch. He also managed to fix the driver side hinge to get the panel to align better with the body. He focused on the gutters as well.
Meanwhile at home I’ve been organizing parts that to be reinstalled. Cleaning them up as I go. Trying to make installation as efficient as possible. LOL - we probably all know how that will go.
Here are some pics of progress.

I got some progress photos over the weekend. Finish paint has started. I had to get more paint so I dropped it off this morning.
He is looking great! We are in the home stretch.

I stopped by the shop to drop off a little more paint. We are almost done. Looks like he will be ready next week to get shipped out. The frames, bumpers and little parts are on deck for paint next. He’s looking great!

Paint is done! Ahead of schedule too. Thanks to Adrian at Mi Casa Body Shop, great work.
Now it’s time to start putting it back together. I’m going to let the paint “cure” for a bit before installing windows etc.
