I remember...
Kirk got some body work done yesterday on the right rear corner. That is coming out very nice. He might be kind enough to post a picture. My phone pics came out blurry...
Today we got the swing pin replaced and all new gear oil back into the transmission. Then we greased the front end at all of the points.
I also got to see Craig's bus in person. So that was cool. It was a nice visit.
All in all a very productive day.
The cookies were OK, I will have to bring more out with me next time...

Made some more headway on the bus, getting close to the end.......maybe.
Also needed to have battery tray replaced along with wheel tub sections/apron/wheel well opening/front passenger floor area, etc. etc.
And just for future reference to anybody considering corner replacement with Gerson metal; be warned that they are too short and will most likely need to be butchered to fit correctly

First off, I have to say, I had a great time at the party on Saturday night. It was nice seeing everyone and meeting new people. Gret job to everyone who helped out and thank you.
I went out to Kirk's yesterday...
The primer was sanded and cleaned, I seam sealed everything in those areas and then painted with a sealing wax red spray paint from APS Tower Paint. It came out really nice. If anyone is looking for paint to match original colors, I would recommend them. They ship it in spray cans, real easy to use, even for newbies like me.
Here are some photos to share... I thought I took a final of the front floor, I will have to share that latter.

Oh yes... Ed stopped in to say Hi, and no visit out to Kirk's is complete without stopping in on Craig. So off we went...he was working on taking apart his transmssion. It looked like hard work, I sat and watched.

I'm done as far as metal work on this project.
We threw on some SWR rattle can paint to hold it over until Marla finds someone to do the final bodywork/paint to the whole bus.
Still have some mechanical things to do to it, but some of that can wait
Enjoy......
