I'm not 100% positive, but... it's a commercial vehicle, the emblem was the same color as the vehicle.
The emblem is body color on specific colored vehicles, Dove Blue being one of them.

As far as I know only on some special order service trucks...like early fire wagens and maybe postal trucks were painted to match the body. All other commercials were painted Silver (Silber) White to match the bumpers and wheels.

Postal trucks emblems were black..if they were postal yellow...

Thanks everybody.
It's far from perfect but good enough for what we started out with.
Reading the Dropgates.com forum, sounds like the emblem should be white but I wanted to try it body color for awhile (see if it goes faster

)
I didn't paint it; a had a friend of mine volunteer his help...while I did some grunt work.
