Painted it in my dirty garage with a wetted down floor and its single stage urethane enamel...i wanted single stage because I like how it fades out over time. Plus I was cheap haha
it came out pretty good for a amateur but far from perfect!

Cleaned them up today before we get dumped on tomorrow with snow..got the bus in the garage too

Pulled the gear oil bleeding small nut out of the bus this weekend, I was tired of it leaking everywhere...all 3 plugs behind the nose cone were dried out and gone..on top of the nose cone leaking a bit as well. Plus Im pretty sure my rgb's were gonna need a rebuild cause I drained them last fall and found a fair bit of debris in the fluid
I put in a big nut trans Aaron hooked me up with...still have to put some new ebrake cables on it..but at least the shitty part is done...
Only pics I got are of the old greasy trans.
The cut boot is one I took off another trans, since I needed the brand new on I had on this one

After a lot of miles new tires were needed
General grabbers, loved them on my vanagon and love them on this bus too.
