I got this bus in January this year. My husband bought it for me as my very first project bus. There is a ton of body work that needs done and engine work as well. I wasn't sure I was going to make it my first day driving it. We brought it from Elyria to Medina then about a week later from Medina to Rittman. That was the day it was about -10 degrees outside. I didn't have any problem with her at all and she sat from then until the middle/end of February when it started to get warmer. I have replaced the ignition switch and also a push button start which I haven't mounted yet because I am going to completely redo the interior so that will be one of the last things I do. I have taken out all of the seats, paneling, and the headliner. I have also started looking for the right fabric to re-do the seats with. I am not a purist by any means so I apologize if you aren't impressed. My big goal is to rebuild the engine and make her purr. As I am doing that and waiting for parts, etc., I will be working on the body and the interior.
Like I said, I haven't really gotten a whole lot done since I have had her because of our lovely Ohio weather and finally getting my garage back. Please bare with me as I said, this is my first project and I am learning everyday. I hope I don't bug you all with my questions
and I can't wait to show all the progress and driving her to some events soon!
