I know we can all state that our wives put up with allot........ My wife has put up with me for 37 years and has never said much when i buy i vehicle without telling her (so far that has been 6, all classics ) i tell her investment dear......... well she just happened to come out to "MY SPACE" , the garage and i was on the comp looking at LEAKOIL forums. I showed her around and she said.....I want the 75 bay fixed so she can call it her OWN........ Big ooops I thought.... She can not drive a standard, and will not learn....... She tore out Mustang clutch in 2 days........ Bummer and that is why I buy Standards, so I get to drive.....

So to PLEASE the wifey I need to convert this Bus to Automatic........ Anyone know where I can get one Buy, Trade, or Midnight Auto.......... Help Please...........

If I didn't have my '59 to finish, (and a kitchen to put in), I'd be all over this one that was referenced in another thread....

My neighbor, Nelson has a '78 Automatic Bay for sale under the LEAKOIL "For Sale" thread. He still has it, I saw it today. Check it out.

Yes, I forgot about Nelson's bus. It's a runner. I don't think the bus I put the link up on is running. Either way, they are both automatics. Here's a picture of the back of Nelson's bus from Ken's camout last year...

I concur! Nelson's IS a Transporter, non-camper, but it looks solid and is priced right.

Here is a picture of Nelson's '78. The rust spots you see are only surface rust. No rust holes. Original factory paint. It was originally from California and is a must see.

I'm surprised it didn't sell yet. Money is tight, I know. If I hadn't invested my windfall money in a new I-Mac from my court settlement, I would have bought Nelson's bus and flipped it for 2X the price on E-Bay Motors.

Asking price is $2500.00 but he would take an offer.
