I was going to come this for the first time with my Westy. My friend has a 1965 German Amphi car would she be welcomed at the event or is just for buses ? - Amy

As long as he is giving rides I don't think it will be unwelcome.

Your friend and the Amphicar are welcome to attend, However,do to the growth of the event and an expected increase in attendance this year, 4H and LEAKOIL have decided to only allow VW buses and VW camping vehicles on the camp field. That is,the area below the dinning hall. ALL other vehicles will need to park in the upper parking area.

( ALL) would this rule also apply to scooters,mopeds and golf carts?

scooters, mopeds and golf cart are allowed on the campground. Same as in previous years.

I've noticed those small cabins located by the mess hall,are they for rent?

The cabins are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Keep in mind ,that are group camp cabins. Several beds and bunks and a single overhead lite.

If anyone is interested in taking a clean Pop-Up camper with them to Kelly's Island - let me know. Peace.
