Just a reminder.

Registration for the event will be closed on Oct 1st. We have had a great response so far, so thank you to everyone who has completed registration.

An agenda will get posted after the 1st. We are excited to announce some new items this year including new merchandise available in the store. We will post an agenda for the weekend after the 1st so you can plan accordingly.

Also, don't forget the silent auction will be running as well. If you have items to donate, bring them with you. Bid sheets will be available for you to fill out and place your item on the tables set up in the mess hall.

Looking forward to a great event!

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED!
Thank you to everyone who got registration in on time, even those last minute ones that came in last night. We will have a great turn out this year. Here is some additional information for the event.

KOMBIS ON KELLEYS CAMP RULES:

Check -In: Will be at the main barn near the entrance to the camp. It will open at noon on Friday. If you arrive late on Friday and there is no one at check in, just go set up camp and see us in the morning for your parking pass.

Camping; There are no assigned sites, first come first serve. Just pick a spot and set up camp. This is primitive camping, with very limited locations having electricity available. Electric heaters are prohibited as the circuits cannot handle the load. If you think you may need heat, we suggest a propane heater. Mr. Heater - Little Buddy are commonly used.

Fire Pits: 4H does not allow ground fires and fire rings are not provided. You can bring a raised fire pit, or a Solo stove. This is strictly enforced by 4H. There is a large fire ring at the beach where a shared community fire usually occurs. Be sure your coals are completely cool before dumping them. Do not dump hot coals or ashes in the tree line.
Firewood: 4H will provide firewood, however, we won't know about the supply until we arrive. There will be small piles of firewood set throughout the camping area. It is meant to be shared by all. If you aren’t finding any for use, contact a 4H representative and let them know.

Pets: Dogs are permitted. PLEASE be a responsible pet owner. Pick up after them. Dogs must be leashed at all times. However, there are areas on both sides of the 4H beach where you can let your dog run free and play in the water. We ask that you not bring you dog into the mess hall to avoid conflicts.

Driving: The speed limit on the Island is 25 MPH. a speeding ticket on the Island will cost you more than your ferry and camping combined.

Speed limit on the 4H grounds is 5MPH. Please be aware of children playing throughout the camping area. 4H asks that you use the road along the field and try to avoid driving on the field other than to get to your camping spot. The Reckless operation of any vehicles including golf carts, mopeds or other vehicles will not be tolerated and will result in expulsion.

Golf Carts: This is a great way to get around the camp and the Island. There are a few locations downtown where you can rent a golf cart for the weekend if you chose.

Ice: Bags of Ice will be provided in the walk-in cooler near the rear of the mess hall, outside. You can help yourself.
Breakfast: 4H will provide breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning in the mess hall starting at 8 AM. Coffee pots will be brewing starting around 7:30. Bring your own cup, there are limited coffee mugs on site.

Parking: Only VW camping vehicles will be allowed in the camping area. Non VW camping vehicles will need to park in the upper parking area. Tent campers will be able to unload their gear at their chosen camp site, but must then park in the designated area.

Weather for KOK 2026 is looking good! Just a reminder that there may be some construction at the exit ramp #125, it should be done by Friday the 9th, see below.

ODOT NEWS.......
Good News: The ramp from Eastbound SR2 to SR53N was opened this afternoon (10/1/26).
A better clarification about next week's closure: If you are coming from Sandusky to Danbury Township and normally exit at 125 OR
if you are leaving Danbury Township and are going toward Sandusky or further east OR if you are leaving Danbury Township and need to go toward Port Clinton or further west, you can PROCEED AS YOU NORMALLY DO.
The ONLY ramp closed at the SR2/SR269 interchange is the eastbound SR-2 exit to Northbound SR269. Both entrance ramps to both directions of SR-2 remain open. In a nutshell...if you are coming from the west and going east, plan to get off at the SR 53 Catawba exit next week.
